Northward Compass is a design and photography studio in Greenfield Indiana.

Our Outlook on Life...

It's pretty simple. You have a site or a web application you need designed and developed, and we're the kind of people who design and develop websites and applications. But it's not just about that, it's about empowering you to be able to maintain your site after we've built it with you.

We're not interested in overcharging either. Sure, we want to be fair, but exaggerated numbers and padded quotes aren't really good for either party. We like to do things differently, and we think you'll enjoy it as well.

On a typical project we use the Drupal Content Management System. You may have heard of it, but if you haven't we'll teach you what you need to know. We're all about using the right tools for the job, and sometimes that means writing our own. But we won't do that unless it's what you really need. There's no sense in recreating the wheel on your budget.

Founder

David started his career as an audio producer and moved into the visual arts. He has worked in a variety design and development related roles, including academic institutions, web applications and large-scale eCommerce websites. In his spare time he writes in his journal, LuzCannon.com, and takes photos.
